These pork chops are juicy and full of flavor thanks to some grill seasoning and my air fryer. They are perfect for a quick dinner any night of the week. Proteins really benefit from the magic of the air fryer. It really seals in the juices! I’m a big fan of cooking chicken breasts and shrimp in my Philips Air Fryer too. Properly cooked pork means an internal temperature of 145 degrees F and a 3-minute rest before slicing. A blush of pink in the center of your pork chops means you’ve cooked them just right.

Simple ingredients for air fryer pork chops recipe
- Pork Chops – Go to your butcher and choose some thick-cut, boneless pork chops for this recipe.
- Seasonings – For convenience, I use a store bought grill seasoning. Or you could borrow from my broiled pork chops recipe and use a dry rub of brown sugar, salt, smoked paprika, ginger, oregano and garlic powder.
- Sauce – I love a mix of pure maple syrup, Dijon mustard and lemon juice. But feel free to use BBQ sauce or your own favorite.
- Oil – Use vegetable or olive oil to grease your air fryer basket before cooking.
Instructions
The air fryer really makes the magic happen for juicy pork chops. All you have to do is oil the basket and season the pork. Then make the simple sauce for drizzling on afterwards. Be sure to air fry the pork chops in a single layer, no over lapping. For my free, printable recipe card and a video tutorial, keep scrolling to the bottom of this post.
How long to cook pork chops in the air fryer?
The cook time and temperature here depends on two things – your brand of air fryer and the thickness of your chops. In this testing recipe, mine were about 1 – inch thick. I air fried them at 375 degrees F for about 14 minutes, flipping them over halfway through. Always check your cooked meat with a digital meat thermometer. The internal temperature should be 145 degrees F when they are fully cooked.
Is breading necessary for making these pork chops?
This recipe is not a ‘shake and bake’ type of pork chop. I prefer a simple rub to season the pork. The air fryer does sear the outside of the pork, to seal in the juices.

Probably start with 8-10 minutes, then check the temperature. Keep cooking if they haven’t reached at least 145 degrees.
