I have a method that is fool-proof for making hard boiled eggs. The egg shells peel right off in one piece every single time. When I started seeing air fryer hard cooked eggs I was skeptical. I thought not boiling the eggs in water would mean they’d be difficult to peel. I was wrong! After testing this method for cooking eggs in my air fryer I am a convert. I have to emphasize that air fryers are very different. The cooking time and temperature I’m giving you here may be different for you. Based on the make and model of air fryer you have in your home. But try these eggs. I think you’ll be impressed.

How to make Air Fryer Eggs

Place cold eggs in the air fryer basket. I have only tried making 6 eggs at once so far. You want space around the eggs for the hot air to circulate.

Cook the eggs at 250 degrees F for 16 minutes. Remove the basket and run the eggs under cold water. It’s funny, I wash my air fryer basket really well after each use (or so I thought). Apparently there are crumbs still floating around in there. That stuck to my cooked eggs as you can see. No worries. Just rinse them off.

Place the eggs in an ice bath for five minutes. Peel. Eat or make something with them. Peeled eggs will keep in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

What to make with Air Fryer Eggs

  • Classic Deviled Eggs
  • Egg Salad
  • Cobb Salad
  • Seven Layer Salad
  • Macaroni Salad

Kitchen Tips

  • I use a Philips XXL Air Fryer for all my recipes
  • I like these containers for storing things in the refrigerator

Never knew one can cook hard-boiled eggs in an air-fryer. Now I have another great use for my air-fryer. 🙂

is there actually anything an air fryer can’t do? I’ve been in two minds about getting one for ages but I think I’ve just been convinced! they’re too good to be true!
