Green Tea Smoothie by Foodtastic Mom #SimplySteamed #ad

Ahhhh, the holidays. I continue to have a love/hate relationship with Christmas. I love our family traditions and how excited our kids still get about all of it, but I hate the endless list of extra “to do’s” and how there never seems to be enough time to do it. I’ve got to keep my energy up more than ever these next few weeks and I know you do too! So I’m happy to give you this simple and energizing green tea smoothie recipe as a healthy lunch option to go along with one of the many varieties of Healthy Choice® Simply Cafe Steamers® found at your local Kroger store.

Green Tea Smoothie by Foodtastic Mom #SimplySteamed #ad

This smoothie is so simple to make and takes just three ingredients: brewed green tea, yogurt and a frozen banana – plus you can add a sprinkle of cinnamon if you’re feeling extra fancy. This smoothie is packed with lots of nutrients plus a little protein from the yogurt to keep you energized and feeling light. I don’t know about you but I’ve got plenty of holiday treats around to tempt me right now, so I don’t need to be indulging in a frozen coffee on top of that!

Add this alongside a quick and easy, steamed microwave meal and you’ve got yourself nourished in no time! Healthy Choice® Simply Cafe Steamers® are fresh tasting with NO artificial ingredients or flavors, plus right now I’ve got a coupon for you for $1.00 off one meal, good through December 20th. And who doesn’t love a coupon?! Click right HERE to download.

I always bring you products that I actually eat and enjoy along with a recipe for you to try. I really do have a freezer full of these meals to help get me through the holiday rush. And this green tea smoothie is just the right amount of “extra” to go along with these steamed entrees because even when I’m counting calories, I’ve got to have about 1,800 per day to keep me going. I especially like frozen meals because I can scan the barcode in the My Fitness Pal app to keep track of my eating.

Tell me, what do you use to keep yourself on track with eating? I can’t afford to pack on any extra holiday weight so these Healthy Choice® Simply Cafe Steamers® are a great help!
