My love affair with Liberté Méditerranée Coconut yogurt began last summer. I got to experience an exclusive tasting at my city’s top restaurant, the Orchids at Palm Court, with dessert recipes created exclusively for Liberté by award-winning pastry chef Megan Ketover. I shared her recipe for dark chocolate candied almond crunch HERE and it’s not to be missed! The crunch paired with the European-style thick yet delicate coconut Liberté yogurt is dessert perfection.
My love affair with frozen bananas whipped into ice cream-like smoothies hasn’t been going on for quite so long, but my craving for them is just as intense. My go-to for months now in the mornings has been THIS chocolate peanut butter creation. Thick, creamy and indulgent as any milkshake but healthy and filled with nutrients.
This pina colada smoothie requires only three ingredients to provide shake-like, icy refreshment. Frozen bananas, Liberté Méditerranée Coconut yogurt and pineapple juice. That’s it. Blend until smooth and top with a dab of whipped cream, toasted coconut and a cherry (if you’re feeling fancy). Indulgent and deceptively good for you. What are you waiting for? Begin your own pina colada style love affair today.
