After having great success with cooking frozen biscuits in my air fryer, I knew I needed to make a breakfast sandwich. This sandwich combines a frozen biscuit, refrigerated (pre-cooked) sausage patty, an egg and cheese. For ultra convenience, I chose things that would cook at the same temperature, so it’s ready all at once, for you to dash out the door. This Air Fryer Breakfast Sandwich is delicious and perfectly portable.

How to make an Air Fryer Breakfast Sandwich

Butter the ramekin dish generously with butter. Crack a large egg into it and gently whisk it together with a fork. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper, plus some fresh parsley or other herbs you might have on-hand.

Place one frozen biscuit and one refrigerated (pre-cooked) sausage patty into the basket of your air fryer. Cook them at 325 degrees F for 4 minutes. Open the air fryer and add the ramekin dish with the egg. Continue to cook all three at 325 degrees F for an additional 8 – 10 minutes, or until the biscuit and egg are cooked through.

Split the biscuit. Run a knife around the edge of the ramekin dish to pop out the cooked egg. Stack the cooked sausage patty, egg and a slice of American cheese onto the bottom half of the biscuit. Top with the other half of the biscuit to make a sandwich. Enjoy!
