I’m a Midwestern girl, born and bred in Ohio. I always look forward to corn on the cob being in season. I can make an entire meal out of it. Just fresh corn, butter and salt. I would always boil my corn in a big pot of water. But then the other day I stuck a few ears of corn in my air fryer. The hot air circulation of the air fryer seals in the sweet natural flavors of the fresh corn on the cob. It takes just ten minutes to air fry perfect corn on the cob in the air fryer.

Simple ingredients

  • Corn – If you want to make more than four ears of corn, air fry them in batches.
  • Honey Butter – You can season the corn however you like. But I really like it with a mixture on butter, honey, red pepper flakes and salt.

Instructions

  1. Remove the husks from the ears of corn.
  2. Rinse the corn cobs under cold water and remove the corn silk.
  3. Place the four ears of corn in the air fryer basket.
  4. No need to season or turn the corn during cooking.
  5. Cooking time for the corn is 375 degrees F for 10 – 12 minutes.
  6. Brush the cooked corn with melted honey butter.

Corn, tomatoes and zucchini are all in season at the same time here in Ohio. Here’s some more recipes to show them all off –

Storage directions

Once the corn has been cooked, if there’s any leftover I prefer to cut the corn kernels off the cob to store. Put the corn in an airtight container. It will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to three days. Or in the freezer for up to one month.
