Ingredients

  • 2 8-inch thin pizza crusts I used Stonefire brand
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 cloves garlic dry toasted and minced
  • 1 tbsp dill pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 24 slices dill pickles I used Grillo's brand
  • 2 cups pizza blend cheese shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Place an oven-safe baking sheet on top of a sheet pan. Place the thin crust prepared pizza crusts on top of the oven rack.
  • In a small skillet over medium heat, dry toast the unpeeled garlic cloves, for 6 - 8 minutes, until they are fragrant and turning brown. Press them through a garlic press after they have cooled a bit.
  • In a small glass bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, pickle juice, prepared garlic, dill and salt until smooth.
  • Spread half the white sauce on top of each pizza crust. Top each crust with 12 slices of dill pickles. Top each pizza with one cup of shredded pizza cheese.
  • Bake the pizza in the upper third of the oven for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a more browned color. Slice and serve.
