Add the water and butter to a small saucepan. Over medium heat, bring the water and butter to a boil.
Reduce the heat to medium-low. Stir in the oatmeal, crushed freeze-dried strawberries, chia seeds, sugar and salt.
Cook, stirring often, for 4 - 5 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed and the oatmeal is softened and thick.
Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla, 2 tablespoons of yogurt and 1 tablespoon of strawberry jam.
Spoon into serving bowls. Garnish each bowl with fresh chopped strawberries, more yogurt and strawberry jam. I like to microwave the jam to make it liquid and drizzle over the top. Serve immediately.
