3bags herbal teapreferably use an orange flavored tea, but any flavor can work
3tbspGrand Marnier
7ozlady fingers
1/4tspnutmeg
Instructions
Stem and slice the strawberries into three or four slices each, stem to tip. Set aside.
Heat water in the microwave and brew the tea. Add the Grand Marnier to the tea and pour into a shallow dish. Set aside to cool a bit.
Use a hand or stand mixer to whip together the mascarpone, heavy cream, sugar, strawberry jam, vanilla and nutmeg. Start the mixer on slow. As it begins coming together and gets thicker, increase the speed to high. Beat until stiff peaks form.
Quickly dip both sides of each lady finger in the tea and Grand Marnier mixture. Don't over soak the ladyfingers or your tiramisu will be soggy! Layer half the dipped cookies into the bottom of the dish. Top with half the whipped cream mixture, using an offset spatula to evenly spread the mascarpone mixture. Then half the sliced strawberries.
Repeat the layers - starting with the other half of the ladyfingers, dipping each one quickly in the tea. Then the remaining mascarpone mixture. Then the remaining sliced strawberries.
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight. Slice and serve.
