The Best Apple Salad

The best apple salad starts with fresh, slightly tart apples, a fresh orange for some zingy sweetness and marshmallow fluff to round out the dressing.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium apples cored and chopped
  • 1 medium orange peeled and chopped
  • 2 ribs celery finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Mix together the apples, oranges, celery and walnuts in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients - mayonnaise, marshmallow fluff, lemon juice and salt.
  • Add the dressing the apple mixture and stir well to combine.
  • Allow the salad to sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, covered, before serving.
  • Can be made up to one day ahead.
