- 4 6 oz filet mignon steaks
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Place in a shallow baking dish.
Bake the steaks until desired internal temperature is reached. Check with a digital thermometer to be sure.
Remove the steaks from the oven.
Melt the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the cooked steaks for one minute on each side.
Allow the steaks to rest for a few minutes and serve.
