Air Fryer Spaghetti Squash

Air Fryer Spaghetti Squash cooks this squash variety perfectly. It cooks evenly so it is tender, full of flavor and not wet or soggy.

Ingredients

  • 1 Spaghetti Squash
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • salt

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the squash.
  • Using a sharp, heavy chef's knife carefully cut the squash in half from the stem to the bottom .
  • Trim off a bit of the top and bottom so the halves fit into your air fryer basket.
  • Use a large spoon to scrape out and discard the seeds and strands of squash attaching the seeds to the middle.
  • Place the squash halves, cut side down into the basket of your air fryer.
  • Air fry the squash at 325 degrees F for 15 minutes.
  • Turn the squash halves over so they are cut side up.
  • Brush the insides of the squash with melted butter (using a pastry brush) and sprinkle lightly with salt.
  • Air fry the squash again at 375 degrees F for 12 - 15 minutes, or until the squash is tender.
  • Shred the squash with a fork before serving.
