Citrus Marinade for Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup orange juice three oranges
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice two lemons
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup lime juice two limes
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh Italian herbs chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 6 chicken breasts boneless and skinless

Instructions

  • In a large bowl or glass measuring cup, whisk all of the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Pour over the chicken breasts. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or up to (and no longer than) four hours.
  • Cook chicken as desired. Bake in the oven, cook in a non-stick pan or grill.
