TOTE TEACHER GIFT

ORIGINAL POST…

Teacher Gift Collage

I was a teacher for three years back before I had kids. I liked the teaching part – not so much the disciplining part. There’s a saying about not smiling until after December but I was smiling from day one. Those kids knew that I was a pushover (LOL) so I moved on to cooking after we had our two children. So each year I try to create really special teacher gifts for my kids’ teachers because I know from experience how hard they work and what tough job they have!

My kiddos will finish second grade and kindergarten on Wednesday and I’d been scouring Pinterest for the perfect (yet reasonably priced) gift for them to give their teachers on the final day of the school year. This idea is certainly not my own. The original idea, plus printable, comes from Making Memories with your Kids. Simply right-click and save on the orange image and print for your own personal use. The items I included, plus gift bag, only cost $15 for each gift. I didn’t think of it at the time, but if you have an Orange Leaf frozen yogurt shop in your area, a gift card from there would also be perfect in this gift. Incidentally, I found everything pictured at Target.

These cookies are my sweet and salty chocolate almond chip cookies. They are truly the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever made. I’m sharing the recipe (again) at the end of this post because they’d be the perfect cookies to pack in a box with this super-cute free printable from Sweet Metel Moments.

And finally, this berry basket gift filled with goodies from Bath & Body Works {with free printable gift tag} can also be found at eighteen25. Also, Target is currently selling sets of two berry baskets for $3 in their gift section… I just saw them on a trip yesterday.
