If you make a Summer Bucket List, you might as well have a Summer Bucket Snack Mix made with
M&M’s®
to take along on all your adventures!

My family has season passes to Kings Island for the first time this season and we had an absolutely perfect day there yesterday. It was sunny and warm with a slight breeze. The park was unbelievably UN-crowded meaning there was barely a line to wait in all day. Plus we got to walk through the “Dinosaurs Alive!” animatronic exhibit, thereby crossing off the first item on our Summer Bucket List for this year.

Now today it’s raining buckets as I’m writing about buckets. Slightly ironic, isn’t it?

Does your family make a Bucket List for the summer? I think it’s a fun way to plan visits to a few local attractions, plus keep the family on-track with things like library and farmers market visits. And I’m not one for fancy graphics or complicated bells and whistles on my list. I sat with my laptop for about 20 minutes and wrote out ten things I thought would be fun for us to do this summer. Quick and simple, that’s my style. Here’s our list, which obviously is focused on our hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio…

1. Play in Smale Park (watch the piano scene from “Big” before we go).

2. Visit the local library once a week.

3. Go to the Starlight Drive-In, pack a picnic dinner.

4. Make a peach pie.

5. Tour “Dinosaurs Alive!” at Kings Island (complete)

6. Go to the top of the Carew Tower.

7. Grab donuts at Holtman’s OTR and do our grocery shopping at Findlay Market on a Saturday.

8. Go raspberry picking.

9. See “Lumenocity” at Washington Park.

10. Shop a farmers market once a week.

A quick and simple Summer Bucket List deserves a quick and simple Summer Bucket Snack Mix, which is where M&M’s® can help. These XXL bags of M&M’s® from Sam’s Club will last us ’till the end of the season and they are available in three varieties: M&M’s® Original, M&M’s® Crispy, & M&M’s® Peanut. I can grab a few handful of the M&M’s® Peanut and put them in a zippered plastic bag as we head out the door. Or if I want to get really fancy, I can have a few bags of this Summer Bucket Snack Mix prepared and ready to pack in my backpack. It’s simply a mix of M&M’s® Original, peanut butter filled pretzels and dried cherries. It’s sweet and salty, plus the peanut butter provides a little protein and the dried cherries provide a little fiber. It’s an easy and filling snack, to give us energy as we check-off the items on our Summer Bucket List!

So tell me… do you have your own Summer Bucket List? What’s one of the activities you are looking forward to the most this Summer? Don’t forget to add an XXL bag of M&M’s® from Sam’s Club for even more summer fun!
