I’m a huge fan of DIY projects, especially when it comes to giving gifts. There is so much creativity on the interwebs, just waiting to be harvested. This is a picture of my mantel as it looks today. The birthday bunting is because my Aunt and I just celebrated our birthdays. But with each season and holiday, I change out my frame with an appropriate printable, that I’ve usually found for free on Pinterest, as well as decorate around it appropriately. It couldn’t be an easier {or cheaper} way to update your home throughout the year.
This is also a fabulous gift idea for friends and family. Simply purchase a pretty 8×10 frame and print 8 or so printables to be used throughout the year. Trim to fit and place them in the frame so they’re all ready to go. I’m personally fond of the eight prints I found and printed not only for my Aunt but also for myself.
