I’m excited about a free movie ticket and I’m excited about this snack. It’d be perfect for a birthday party too. I found the cups, foam sheets (in the correct colors for the turtles’ masks) and goggly eyes all at my local Walmart… same place I purchased the snacks and smoothie ingredients. I cut strips of foam for the masks and secured them with duct tape to the cups. Then taped the eyes on top of the masks. They were super easy to make and look decidedly turtle-like.
These are easy enough to put together for a pre-movie or summer snack as well. My kids are always excited to get chicken nuggets and corn dogs. I keep a few bags and boxes in the freezer throughout the summer. And these smoothies are a simple blend of frozen bananas, organic green apples (with the skin), skim milk and vanilla ice cream. They’re really walking the line between a smoothie and a milkshake and they are delicious!
So tell me, what are your plans this summer? Will you be seeing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows? We’ll for sure be in line with our free ticket!
